ECI is also part of the Copper Alliance, an international network of industry associations. Its shared mission is to work, with its members, to defend and grow markets for copper based on its superior technical performance and contributions to a higher quality of life.

ECI represents 28 companies and 45000 direct employees in the European copper industry.

ECI demonstrates the benefits of leading edge copper technologies to end-use sectors, leads industry efforts in human health and environmental science, ensures copper’s fair position in codes and standards, ensures compliance of industry with the regulations and provides technical support and advice to the copper value chain.

ECI has built partnerships with authorities, the value chain, academia, research institutions and civil society.
